Supported employment

Supported employment - Boss Employment Research tells us that the best way to support people into work is to use something called supported employment

This approach believes that anyone can get a job with the right support.

Supported employment services use Job Coaches but they can also be called employment advisers, employment consultants, job trainers and employment support officer

By getting to know the person really well, the Job Coach will help find the best job for the person by matching their skills to the needs of local employers.

Support is then given to help the new employee settle in and learn the new job.
